The activation of pulsar winds and relativistic jets requires continuous injection of plasma in the magnetosphere. I would like to talk on our works for the electromagnetic cascade process in the pulsar and black hole magnetospheres. Also, I will talk on some recent topics about neutron star binary mergers and their relation to short gamma-ray bursts.
